Card count and deck size
Rummy rooms use a 13-card hand and two decks with jokers. Poker rooms use a five-card hand and one deck per table. The hand size and deck size are visible in each room card on this site.
Turn structure
Rummy rooms use a draw-and-discard turn. Each player draws one card and discards one card. Poker rooms use a betting round. The action moves clockwise and ends when every active player has either called or folded.
What ends the round
Rummy rounds end when a player shows a valid declaration. Poker rounds end at showdown or when the last opponent folds. The end condition is shown in the room card.
Why this matters
Knowing the visible differences helps a reader pick the right room before adding money. Both are valid game types but they reward different skills.
